Founder's Series: Love Malone - A Visionary Leader Elevating Black Executive Women

Love Malone is a powerhouse in advertising, media, and technology—a leader whose work has reshaped industries and opened doors for countless professionals. With an unwavering commitment to diversity and innovation, she has built a legacy of impact, transformation, and empowerment. Now, as co-founder of Titan, she is championing the success of Black Executive Women, ensuring they have the visibility, resources, and networks to thrive in competitive industries.

A Career Defined by Excellence

Love’s career began in sales and marketing, where she quickly distinguished herself as a strategic thinker and business driver. Her expertise and passion for brand storytelling led her to advertising, securing positions at two of the industry's most coveted agencies—Ogilvy & Mather and BBDO Worldwide. There, she led groundbreaking campaigns for Merck, Pinnacle Foods, Janssen, Universal Pictures, BlackRock, iShares, Genentech, and other major brands. Her ability to craft compelling narratives and drive consumer engagement made her a sought-after leader in the field.

Building a Legacy in Advertising & Media

Recognizing a critical gap in the industry, Love took an entrepreneurial leap, founding Malone Creative Group, an advertising and media buying agency. Her vision was clear: create a firm that not only delivers best-in-class advertising solutions but also fosters inclusivity and innovation. Under her leadership, Malone Creative Group grew into a multi-million-dollar agency, specializing in brand strategy, creative execution, media buying, and placement. Through her work, she has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands connect with diverse audiences in meaningful ways.

Revolutionizing Hiring in the Creative Industry

As a leader who has navigated the challenges of breaking into the highly exclusive advertising and media world, Love knew firsthand how difficult it was for underrepresented professionals to gain access. This realization led to her founding of The Gradient—a first-of-its-kind technology platform designed to bridge the gap between talented individuals and the companies that need them. Since its inception, The Gradient has helped thousands of professionals secure jobs in advertising, media, and marketing, fundamentally reshaping the hiring landscape.

Titan: Uplifting Black Executive Women

While The Gradient opened doors for many, Love also recognized the need to support Black women at the highest levels of leadership. This inspired her to co-found Titan, an organization dedicated to elevating, supporting, and advocating for Black Executive Women. She understands that leadership can be a lonely road, especially in industries where Black women are underrepresented at the executive level. Titan provides a network of mentorship, resources, and advocacy, ensuring that Black women in leadership not only succeed but flourish.

A Legacy of Action, Not Just Conversation

Throughout her career, Love has operated by a simple but powerful philosophy: less talking, more doing. While diversity, equity, and inclusion are popular topics of discussion, she believes that real progress happens through action—hiring diverse talent, creating sustainable opportunities, and investing in leadership that reflects the world we live in.

From shaping the advertising industry with Malone Creative Group, to revolutionizing hiring with The Gradient, and now empowering Black Executive Women through Titan, Love Malone is not just advocating for change—she is creating it.

Residing in New York City, she continues to inspire, lead, and transform industries, proving that when Black women lead, businesses evolve, and the world changes for the better.
